أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا يُحَدِّثُهُ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍفِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ{ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمْ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ }قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قُبُلِ عِدَّتِهِنَّ

Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Basysyar], he said : has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far], he said : has told us [Syu'bah] from [Al Hakam], he said : I once heard Ibn Abbas telling [Mujahid] about the words of Allah the Mighty and Majestic: O Prophet, if you divorce your wives then you should divorce them when they find their iddah, [Ibnu Abbas] radiallahu 'anhu said : namely at the beginning of the 'iddah.
