حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مِقْدَامٍ أَبُو الْأَشْعَثِ الْعِجْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَال سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُوَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَائِشَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Miqdam, Abu Al Asy'ats Al 'Ijli], narrated to us [Al Mu'tamir bin Sulaiman] said; I heard [my father] narrate from [Qatadah] from [Anas] from [Ubadah bin As Shamit] from the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him said: 'Whoever loves to meet Allah, surely Allah loves to meet him. Whoever hates to meet Allah, surely Allah hates to meet him.' A similar hadith is narrated from Abu Musa, Abu Hurairah and Aisyah. Abu Isa said; 'The hadith of 'Ubadah bin As Shamit is a hasan sahih hadith.'"
