حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّهُ أُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتَ عُقْبَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَاسَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ الْكَذَّابُ الَّذِي يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَيَنْمِي خَيْرًا أَوْ يَقُولُ خَيْرًا

Narrated to us ['Abdul 'Aziz bin 'Abdullah], narrated to us [Ibrahim bin Sa?d] from [Shalih] from [Ibn Shihab] that [Humaid bin ?Abdurrahman] informed him that [his mother, Umm Kulthum bint ?Uqbah], informed him that she heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'The liar is not the one who reconciles between people, conveying good or saying good things.'
