Sesungguhnya imam dijadikan untuk diikuti, apabila dia rukuk maka rukuklah, bila dia mengangkat kepalanya maka angkatlah kepala
Imam Bukhari : 690حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكِبَ فَرَسًا فَجُحِشَ شِقُّهُ الْأَيْمَنُ قَالَ أَنَسٌ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَصَلَّى لَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ صَلَاةً مِنْ الصَّلَوَاتِ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فَصَلَّيْنَا وَرَاءَهُ قُعُودًا ثُمَّ قَالَ لَمَّا سَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ فَإِذَا صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا وَإِذَا رَفَعَ فَارْفَعُوا وَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
Narrated to us Abu Al Yaman, he Sa'd informed us Shu'aib from Az Zuhri, he Sa'd informed me Anas bin Malik Al Anshari, that one day the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him, rode a horse and fell, injuring his right side. Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, Sa'd 'So on that day, he led us in one of the prayers while sitting, and we prayed behind him sitting.' Then he Sa'dafter giving the salam: The imam is appointed to be followed. When he prays standing, pray standing; when he bows, you bow; when he rises, you rise; when he prostrates, you prostrate; and when he says, 'Allah hears those who praise Him,' say, 'Our Lord, to You be praise.'
