Tanah itu suci dan tidak najis tanah bisa dipakai untuk tayamum, dan dapat menyucikan junub
Imam Ahmad : 18721حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ أَبِي مُوسَى وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى أَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِ عَمَّارٍ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَاجَةٍ فَأَجْنَبْتُ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ الْمَاءَ فَتَمَرَّغْتُ فِي الصَّعِيدِ كَمَا تَمَرَّغُ الدَّابَّةُ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَكْفِيكَ أَنْ تَقُولَ وَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ مَسَحَ كُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا بِصَاحِبَتِهَا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ لَمْ يُجِزْ الْأَعْمَشُ الْكَفَّيْنِ
Narrated to us [Abu Mu'awiyah] Narrated to us [Al A'masy] from [Syaqiq] he said: I sat with Abu Musa and Abdullah. Then [Abu Musa] said: Have you all not heard the saying of Ammar; "The Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him has sent me for a certain matter. Then I was in a state of junub (rthatal impurity) and did not find water. So I rolled around on the expanse of soil as the rolling of an animal. After that, I approached the Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him." Ammar then mentioned that matter to him. So he said: "Verily it is enough that you say (it)," Then he (demonstrated it by means of) striking both of his hands on the expanse of soil, and each hand wiped the other hand, then he wiped both of them on the face." Al A'masy allowed (wiping) two palms.
