Tha'un adalah syahadah (kematian syahid) bagi setiap muslim

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ بِنْتُ سِيرِينَ قَالَتْ قَالَ لِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ بِمَا مَاتَ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ بِالطَّاعُونِ فَقَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الطَّاعُونُ شَهَادَةٌ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ

Narrated to us ['Affan] Narrated to us [Abdul Wahid bin Ziyad] from ['Ashim Al Ahwal] said: has narrated to me [Hafshah Bint Sirrin] said: [Anas bin Malik] asked me, why did Yahya bin Abu 'Amrah die?, I answered, because of thaun disease. Anas bin Malik said: The Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him said: "Panyakit thaun is proof of martyrdom for every Muslim".
