أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَوَسَأَلْنَاهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَدِمَ مُعْتَمِرًا فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَلَمْ يَطُفْ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ أَيَأْتِي أَهْلَهُ قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَطَافَ سَبْعًا وَصَلَّى خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَطَافَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Mansur], he said :Narrated to us [Sufyan] from ['Amr], he said : I once heard [Ibn Umar] and we asked him about a man who came to perform Umrah, then performed Tawaf at the Kaaba and had not yet performed Tawaf between Safa and Marwah, is it permissible for him to come to his wife? Ibn Umar said : When Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam came, he performed Tawaf seven times, and prayed two rakats behind the Maqam, and performed Tawaf between Safa and Marwah. Indeed for you in the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him a good role model.
