(The True Islam)

Rasulullah apabila bertakbir maka beliau mengangkat kedua tangannya hingga sejajar dengan kedua telinganya
Imam Nasa'i : 923

Narrated to us [Abdul Hamid bin Muhammad] he said : Having told us [Makhlad] he said :Narrated to us [Yunus bin Abu Ishaq] from [his father] from [Abdul Jabar bin Wa'il] from [his father] he said : "I once prayed behind Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihi wasallam, and when he was saying takbir he raised his hands below his ears. After reading, 'Ghairil maghdhuubi 'alaihim waladldlaalliin (Not those who are angry and not those who are misguided)' he said, 'Aamiin'. I heard it because I was behind him." He (Wa'il) said that Rasulullah Shallallallahu'alaihi wasallam heard someone say alhamdulillaahi hamdan katsiiran thayyiban mubaarakan fiih (Allah is the Greatest. Praise be to Allah with abundant praise, noble and blessed). After the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said the greeting of his prayer, he said: "Who says a word in prayer?" A man said, "I, O Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). I do not want any harm from it." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "That word is fought over by twelve angels (to be raised to the place where deeds are accepted), and nothing prevents it except the Throne."
