حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ النَّاسِ رَجُلٌ مُمْسِكٌ بِعِنَانِ فَرَسِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِالَّذِي يَتْلُوهُ رَجُلٌ مُعْتَزِلٌ فِي غُنَيْمَةٍ لَهُ يُؤَدِّي حَقَّ اللَّهِ فِيهَا أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِشَرِّ النَّاسِ رَجُلٌ يُسْأَلُ بِاللَّهِ وَلَا يُعْطِي بِهِقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَيُرْوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Narrated to us [Qutaibah] said, narrated to us [Ibnu Lahi'ah] from [Bukair bin Abdullah bin Al Asyaj] from [Atha bin Yasar] from [Ibnu Abbas] that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Shall I inform you of the best of people? A man who holds the reins of his horse in the way of Allah. Shall I inform you of the one after him? A man who secludes himself in his pasture, fulfilling the rights of Allah. And shall I inform you of the worst of people? A man who is asked for help in the name of Allah but refuses to give.' Abu Isa said: 'This hadith is hasan gharib from this chain of narration, and it has also been narrated from Ibnu Abbas, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, through many chains.'
