حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُدْخِلُ بِالسَّهْمِ الْوَاحِدِ ثَلَاثَةً الْجَنَّةَ صَانِعَهُ يَحْتَسِبُ فِي صَنْعَتِهِ الْخَيْرَ وَالرَّامِيَ بِهِ وَالْمُمِدَّ بِهِ وَقَالَ ارْمُوا وَارْكَبُوا وَلَأَنْ تَرْمُوا أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ تَرْكَبُوا كُلُّ مَا يَلْهُو بِهِ الرَّجُلُ الْمُسْلِمُ بَاطِلٌ إِلَّا رَمْيَهُ بِقَوْسِهِ وَتَأْدِيبَهُ فَرَسَهُ وَمُلَاعَبَتَهُ أَهْلَهُ فَإِنَّهُنَّ مِنْ الْحَقِّحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَزْرَقِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْسَةَ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Mani'] said, narrated to us [Yazid bin Harun] said, informed us [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Abdullah bin 'Abdurrahman bin Abu Husain] that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Indeed, with a single arrow, Allah will admit three people to Paradise: the one who makes it with the intention of good, the one who shoots it, and the one who prepares it.' Then he said: '(Be keen on practicing) shooting and riding. Indeed, your shooting is dearer to me than your riding. Every amusement of a Muslim man is futile except practicing shooting with his bow, training his horse, or playing with his wife, for these are part of the truth.' Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Mani'] said, narrated to us [Yazid bin Harun] said, informed us [Hisyam Ad Dastuwa`i] from [Yahya bin Abu Katsir] from [Abu Sallam] from [Abdullah bin Al Azraq] from [Uqbah bin Amir Al Juhani] from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as in this hadith. Abu Isa said: 'In this matter, there are also hadiths from Ka'b bin Murrah and Amru bin Abasah bin Amru. This hadith is hasan sahih.'
