Puasa menjauhkan dari neraka selama 70 musim

حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّارِ خَنْدَقًا كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِهَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

Narrated to us [Ziyad bin Ayyub] said, narrated to us [Yazid bin Harun] said, informed us [Al Walid bin Jamil] from [Al Qasim Abu 'Abdurrahman] from [Abu Umamah Al Bahili] from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: 'Whoever fasts one day in the way of Allah, Allah will place between him and the Fire a trench as vast as the distance between the heavens and the earth.' This hadith is hasan gharib, from the hadith of Abu Umamah.'
