Nabi tidaklah meninggalkan warisan, semuanya dijadikan shadaqah

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ الْحَدَثَانِ قَالَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ وَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ وَالزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ وَسَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَ عَلِيٌّ وَالْعَبَّاسُ يَخْتَصِمَانِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ لَهُمْ أَنْشُدُكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي بِإِذْنِهِ تَقُومُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ عُمَرُ فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا وَلِيُّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجِئْتَ أَنْتَ وَهَذَا إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ تَطْلُبُ أَنْتَ مِيرَاثَكَ مِنْ ابْنِ أَخِيكَ وَيَطْلُبُ هَذَا مِيرَاثَ امْرَأَتِهِ مِنْ أَبِيهَا فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُ صَادِقٌ بَارٌّ رَاشِدٌ تَابِعٌ لِلْحَقِّقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ قِصَّةٌ طَوِيلَةٌ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ

Narrated to us [Al Hasan bin Ali Al Khallal] said, informed us [Bisyr bin Umar] said, narrated to us [Malik bin Anas] from [Ibnu Syihab] from [Malik bin Aus bin Al Hadatsan], he said: 'I met Umar Ibnul Khaththab, then [Utsman bin Affan], [Az Zubair Ibnul Awwam], ['Abdurrahman bin Auf], and [Sa'd bin Waqash] came. After that, [Ali] and [Al Abbas] came disputing (about the Prophet’s inheritance). [Umar] said to them: I swear by Allah, by Whose permission the heavens and earth were created, do you all know that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'We (the Prophets) are not inherited whatever we leave is for charity'?" The companions replied: "Yes." Umar continued: "When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed away, Abu Bakar said: 'I am the executor of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.' Then you, O (Al Abbas), and he (Ali) came to Abu Bakar demanding the inheritance of your nephew (the Prophet), and he (Ali) came demanding the inheritance of his wife (Fatimah) from her father (the Prophet)." [Abu Bakar] said: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'We (the Prophets) are not inherited whatever we leave is for charity.'" (Umar continued) Yet Allah knows that Abu Bakar was truthful, good, upright, and always followed the truth.' Abu Isa said: 'This hadith has a very long story, and it is hasan sahih gharib, from the hadith of Malik bin Anas.'"
