حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ جَاءَتْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا تَسْأَلُ مِيرَاثَهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَا سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنِّي لَا أُورَثُ قَالَتْ وَاللَّهِ لَا أُكَلِّمُكُمَا أَبَدًا فَمَاتَتْ وَلَا تُكَلِّمُهُمَاقَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى مَعْنَى لَا أُكَلِّمُكُمَا تَعْنِي فِي هَذَا الْمِيرَاثِ أَبَدًا أَنْتُمَا صَادِقَانِ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

[Ali bin Isa] narrated to us as such, he said: narrated to us [Abdul Wahhab bin Atha`], said, narrated to us [Muhammad bin Amru] from [Abu Salamah] from [Abu Hurairah], he said: 'Fatimah came to [Abu Bakar] and [Umar], may Allah be pleased with them, asking about the inheritance she should receive from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. They both said: We heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Indeed, I am not inherited.'" Fatimah then said: "By Allah, I will never speak to you both again." She passed away without speaking to them.' Ali bin Musa said: 'The meaning of Fatimah’s statement, "I will not speak to you," refers to the matter of inheritance, and what you both said is true.' This hadith is narrated from Abu Bakar As Shiddieq, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, through many chains."
