Rasulullah membai’at para sahabat untuk mendengar dan taat, menegakkan shalat, menunaikan zakat dan menasehati setiap muslim

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَكُنَّا نُبَايِعُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ فَيَقُولُ لَنَا فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ كِلَاهُمَا وَمَعْنَى كِلَا الْحَدِيثَيْنِ صَحِيحٌ قَدْ بَايَعَهُ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا قَالُوا لَا نَزَالُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ حَتَّى نُقْتَلَ وَبَايَعَهُ آخَرُونَ فَقَالُوا لَا نَفِرُّ

Narrated to us [Ali bin Hujr] said, informed us [Isma'il bin Ja'far] from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Ibnu Umar], he said: 'We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to hear and obey. He said to us: Hear and obey us as much as you are able." Abu Isa said: 'Both hadiths are hasan sahih. The meaning that both hadiths are sahih is that a group of his companions pledged to die. They said: "We will stay with you until we are killed." Others said: "We will not flee (from battle)."'
