Pena diangkat dari tiga golongan

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَأُتِيَ عُمَرُ بِمَجْنُونَةٍ قَدْ زَنَتْ فَاسْتَشَارَ فِيهَا أُنَاسًا فَأَمَرَ بِهَا عُمَرُ أَنْ تُرْجَمَ مُرَّ بِهَا عَلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ مَا شَأْنُ هَذِهِ قَالُوا مَجْنُونَةُ بَنِي فُلَانٍ زَنَتْ فَأَمَرَ بِهَا عُمَرُ أَنْ تُرْجَمَ قَالَ فَقَالَ ارْجِعُوا بِهَا ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ فَقَالَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ الْقَلَمَ قَدْ رُفِعَ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ عَنْ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَبْرَأَ وَعَنْ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنْ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ قَالَ بَلَى قَالَ فَمَا بَالُ هَذِهِ تُرْجَمُ قَالَ لَا شَيْءَ قَالَ فَأَرْسِلْهَا قَالَ فَأَرْسَلَهَا قَالَ فَجَعَلَ يُكَبِّرُحَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ نَحْوَهُ وَقَالَ أَيْضًا حَتَّى يَعْقِلَ وَقَالَ وَعَنْ الْمَجْنُونِ حَتَّى يَفِيقَ قَالَ فَجَعَلَ عُمَرُ يُكَبِّرُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ السَّرْحِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مُرَّ عَلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِمَعْنَى عُثْمَانَ قَالَ أَوَ مَا تَذْكُرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رُفِعَ الْقَلَمُ عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ عَنْ الْمَجْنُونِ الْمَغْلُوبِ عَلَى عَقْلِهِ حَتَّى يَفِيقَ وَعَنْ النَّائِمِ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِظَ وَعَنْ الصَّبِيِّ حَتَّى يَحْتَلِمَ قَالَ صَدَقْتَ قَالَ فَخَلَّى عَنْهَا

Narrated to us [Utsman bin Abu Syaibah], he said, narrated to us [Jarir] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Zhabyan] from [Ibnu Abbas], he said, ""A mad woman who committed adultery was brought to Umar. He sought opinions from people, then ordered her to be stoned. She was taken past [Ali bin Abu Thalib] - may Allah be pleased with him - who asked, 'What is with this woman?' People replied, 'A mad woman from such-and-such tribe, she committed adultery, and Umar ordered her stoned.' Ibn Abbas said, 'Ali then said, "Take her back."' Ali went to Umar and said, 'O Commander of the Faithful, don’t you know the pen recording deeds is lifted from three groups: the insane until they recover, the sleeping until they wake, and the child until they reach puberty?' Umar replied, 'Of course.' Ali asked, 'Then why is this woman stoned?' Umar said, 'No reason.' Ali said, 'Release her.' Ibn Abbas said, 'Umar then freed her and proclaimed Allah’s greatness.'"" Narrated to us [Yusuf bin Musa], he said, narrated to us [Waki'] from [Al A'masy] like the hadith, saying, ""Until he is sane."" In another narration, ""The insane until he is conscious."" The narrator said, ""Umar then proclaimed Allah’s greatness."" Narrated to us [Ibnu As Sarh], he said, informed us [Ibnu Wahb], he said, informed me [Jarir bin Hazim] from [Sulaiman bin Mihran] from [Abu Zhabyan] from [Ibnu Abbas], he said, ""(The woman) was taken past [Ali bin Abu Thalib] - as in Utsman’s hadith - he said, 'Don’t you recall (O Commander of the Faithful) that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The pen recording sins is lifted from three groups: the insane until they recover the sleeping until they wake and the child until they have a wet dream?"' Umar replied 'You are right.' Then Umar released the woman.""
