Jauhilah orang-orang yang bodoh atau awam
Imam Abu Dawud : 3778حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْعَتَكِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ جَارِيَةَ اللَّخْمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أُمَيَّةَ الشَّعْبَانِيُّ قَالَسَأَلْتُ أَبَا ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيَّ فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا ثَعْلَبَةَ كَيْفَ تَقُولُ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ{ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ }قَالَ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَ عَنْهَا خَبِيرًا سَأَلْتُ عَنْهَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بَلْ ائْتَمِرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنَاهَوْا عَنْ الْمُنْكَرِ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَيْتَ شُحًّا مُطَاعًا وَهَوًى مُتَّبَعًا وَدُنْيَا مُؤْثَرَةً وَإِعْجَابَ كُلِّ ذِي رَأْيٍ بِرَأْيِهِ فَعَلَيْكَ يَعْنِي بِنَفْسِكَ وَدَعْ عَنْكَ الْعَوَامَّ فَإِنَّ مِنْ وَرَائِكُمْ أَيَّامَ الصَّبْرِ الصَّبْرُ فِيهِ مِثْلُ قَبْضٍ عَلَى الْجَمْرِ لِلْعَامِلِ فِيهِمْ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ خَمْسِينَ رَجُلًا يَعْمَلُونَ مِثْلَ عَمَلِهِوَزَادَنِي غَيْرُهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَجْرُ خَمْسِينَ مِنْهُمْ قَالَ أَجْرُ خَمْسِينَ مِنْكُمْ
Narrated to us [Abu Ar Rabi' Sulaiman bin Dawud Al 'Ataki], he said, narrated to us [Ibnul Mubarak] from [Utbah bin Abu Hakim], he said, narrated to me [Amru bin Jariyah Al Lakhmi], he said, narrated to me [Abu Umayyah Asy Sya'bani], he said, "I asked [Abu Tsa'labah Al Khusyani], I said to him, "O Abu Tsa'labah, what is your opinion on this verse: '(.. guard yourselves..)' - Al Maidah: 105? He replied, "By Allah, you have asked the right person. I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about it, and he said: 'Rather, enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, until you see greed obeyed, desires followed, the world preferred (over religion), and everyone proud of their own opinion. Then guard yourself and avoid the ignorant. For after you are days requiring patience, patience then is like holding burning coal, and one who acts then will have a reward equal to fifty times the deeds of those who act like him.'" He added for me, "like deeds of others." Abu Tsa'labah asked, "O Messenger of Allah, like the reward of fifty of them!" He replied, "(Indeed) like the reward of fifty of you."
