حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ وَأَبُو طَاهِرٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ أَحْمَدُ حَدَّثَنَا و قَالَ الْآخَرَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا اسْتَجْمَرَ اسْتَجْمَرَ بِالْأَلُوَّةِ غَيْرَ مُطَرَّاةٍ وَبِكَافُورٍ يَطْرَحُهُ مَعَ الْأَلُوَّةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا كَانَ يَسْتَجْمِرُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Narrated to me [Harun bin Sa'id Al Aili] and [Abu Thahir] and [Ahmad bin 'Isa]. [Ahmad] said: Narrated to us, while the others said: Informed us [Ibnu Wahab] Informed me [Makhramah] from [his father] from [Nafi'], he said: 'When [Ibnu Umar] wanted to use perfume, he used pure aloeswood or sometimes mixed it with camphor. He said: "This is how the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, used perfume."'
