Imam Tirmidzi : 2799حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا مَثَلِي وَمَثَلُ أُمَّتِي كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ اسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا فَجَعَلَتْ الذُّبَابُ وَالْفَرَاشُ يَقَعْنَ فِيهَا وَأَنَا آخُذُ بِحُجَزِكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَقَحَّمُونَ فِيهَاقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah] has told us [Al Mughirah bin Abdurrahman] from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said: "Indeed, my parable and the parable of my ummah is like someone who lights a fire and flies and butterflies fall on the fire, and I hold your cloth ties, while you remain enter it." Abu Isa said : This hadith is hasan sahih and this hadith is also narrated through other sanad.
