Hadith Representative
Nabi meminta para sahabat memperagakan ruqyah mereka, dan menyatakan tidak mengapa selama tidak mengandung syirik
Imam Muslim : 4079حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ كُنَّا نَرْقِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ تَرَى فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ اعْرِضُوا عَلَيَّ رُقَاكُمْ لَا بَأْسَ بِالرُّقَى مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِ شِرْكٌ
Narrated to me by Abu Ath Thahir Informed us by Ibn Wahb Informed me by Mu'awiyah bin Shalih from Abdur Rahman bin Jubair from his father from Auf bin Malik Al Asyja'i, he said, We used to perform incantations during the time of ignorance. We asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), O Messenger of Allah, what is your opinion on incantations? He replied, Show me your incantations. They are fine as long as they contain no polytheism.
