Nabi memerintahkan Ali menyobek pakaian sutra hadiah Ukaidir Dumah untuk dijadikan kerudung bagi kaum wanita
Imam Muslim : 3863و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِزُهَيْرٍ قَالَ أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ أَخْبَرَنَا و قَالَ الْآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّ أُكَيْدِرَ دُومَةَ أَهْدَى إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَوْبَ حَرِيرٍ فَأَعْطَاهُ عَلِيًّا فَقَالَ شَقِّقْهُ خُمُرًا بَيْنَ الْفَوَاطِمِ و قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ بَيْنَ النِّسْوَةِ
"And narrated to us Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah and Abu Kuraib and Zuhair bin Harb, this wording belongs to him (Zuhair). Abu Kuraib said Informed us. While the others said 'Narrated to us Waki' from Mis'ar from Abu Aun At Tsaqafi from Abu Shalih Al Hanafi from Ali, that Ukaidira Dumah once gave a piece of silk cloth to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Then he gave it to Ali saying: 'Cut this silk cloth to make veils, and distribute it to the Fatimahs.' (namely Fatimah binti Rasulullah, Fatimah binti Asad Ummu Ali bin Abu Thalib, and Fatimah binti Hamzah bin Abdul Muthallib). Abu Bakr and Abu Kuraib said with the wording 'baina niswah, (for the women).'
