Imam Nasa'i : 1أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ فَلَا يَغْمِسْ يَدَهُ فِي وَضُوئِهِ حَتَّى يَغْسِلَهَا ثَلَاثًا فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ بَاتَتْ يَدُهُ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah] he said :Narrated to us [Sufyan] from [Az Zuhri] from [Abu Salamah] from [Abu Hurairah], the Prophet peace be upon him said: "When one of you wakes up from sleep, do not dip his hands into his ablution place until he has washed his hands three times, because one of you does not know where his hands spent the night."
