Narrated to us [Qutaibah] said, narrated to us [Al Laits] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Abul Khair] from [Uqbah bin Amir], that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave him goats which he distributed to his companions for sacrifice, and a young camel or goat that could just stand remained. I told this to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: 'Sacrifice with that animal.' Abu Isa said: 'This hadith is hasan sahih. Waki' said: A jadza’ goat is one that is one year or seven months old." This hadith is also narrated from Uqbah bin Amir through another chain, that he said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, distributed sacrificial animals, and only a jadza’ remained, so I asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He replied: 'Sacrifice with that animal.'" Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, narrated to us [Yazid bin Harun] and [Abu Dawud], both said: narrated to us [Hisyam Ad Dastuwa'i] from [Yahya bin Abu Katsir] from [Ba'jah bin Abdullah bin Badr] from [Uqbah bin Amir] from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, like that hadith.'"
