Tiga orang yang pertama kali diadili pada hari kiamat: yang gugur berperang, yang berilmu dan membaca Al-Qur'an, dan yang berinfak, diseret ke neraka karena beramal untuk mencari pujian manusia
Imam Nasa'i : 3086أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَتَفَرَّقَ النَّاسُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ قَائِلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ أَيُّهَا الشَّيْخُ حَدِّثْنِي حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَوَّلُ النَّاسِ يُقْضَى لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَلَاثَةٌ رَجُلٌ اسْتُشْهِدَ فَأُتِيَ بِهِ فَعَرَّفَهُ نِعَمَهُ فَعَرَفَهَا قَالَ فَمَا عَمِلْتَ فِيهَا قَالَ قَاتَلْتُ فِيكَ حَتَّى اسْتُشْهِدْتُ قَالَ كَذَبْتَ وَلَكِنَّكَ قَاتَلْتَ لِيُقَالَ فُلَانٌ جَرِيءٌ فَقَدْ قِيلَ ثُمَّ أُمِرَ بِهِ فَسُحِبَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ حَتَّى أُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ وَرَجُلٌ تَعَلَّمَ الْعِلْمَ وَعَلَّمَهُ وَقَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ فَأُتِيَ بِهِ فَعَرَّفَهُ نِعَمَهُ فَعَرَفَهَا قَالَ فَمَا عَمِلْتَ فِيهَا قَالَ تَعَلَّمْتُ الْعِلْمَ وَعَلَّمْتُهُ وَقَرَأْتُ فِيكَ الْقُرْآنَ قَالَ كَذَبْتَ وَلَكِنَّكَ تَعَلَّمْتَ الْعِلْمَ لِيُقَالَ عَالِمٌ وَقَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ لِيُقَالَ قَارِئٌ فَقَدْ قِيلَ ثُمَّ أُمِرَ بِهِ فَسُحِبَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ حَتَّى أُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ وَرَجُلٌ وَسَّعَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَعْطَاهُ مِنْ أَصْنَافِ الْمَالِ كُلِّهِ فَأُتِيَ بِهِ فَعَرَّفَهُ نِعَمَهُ فَعَرَفَهَا فَقَالَ مَا عَمِلْتَ فِيهَا قَالَ مَا تَرَكْتُ مِنْ سَبِيلٍ تُحِبُّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ وَلَمْ أَفْهَمْ تُحِبُّ كَمَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ يُنْفَقَ فِيهَا إِلَّا أَنْفَقْتُ فِيهَا لَكَ قَالَ كَذَبْتَ وَلَكِنْ لِيُقَالَ إِنَّهُ جَوَادٌ فَقَدْ قِيلَ ثُمَّ أُمِرَ بِهِ فَسُحِبَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ فَأُلْقِيَ فِي النَّارِ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Abdul A'la], he said; he informed us [Khalid], he said; he informed us [Ibnu Juraij], he said; he informed us [Yunus bin Yusuf] from [Sulaiman bin Yasar], he said; The people left Abu Hurairah, then a man from the people of Syria said to him, “O Sheikh, tell us a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him!” [Abu Hurairah] said, "Yes, I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, 'The first people to be judged on the Day of Resurrection will be three people. The first will be a martyr. He will be brought forth and shown his reward, and he will recognize it. Allah will say to him, 'What did you do with it? He will answer, ‘I fought for Your sake until I was martyred.’ Allah will say, ‘You are a liar. You fought so that people would say, “So-and-so is brave,” and they did say that.’ Then he will be commanded to be taken away, dragged by his face, and thrown into Hell. And a man who studied knowledge, taught it, and read the Qur'an, then that person was brought forth, and his blessings were shown to him, so he knew them. Allah said to him, “What did you do with it?” The man replied, “I studied knowledge, taught it, and read the Qur'an for Your sake.” Allah says, “You are lying. You studied knowledge so that people would say, ‘He is learned,’ and you read the Qur'an so that people would say, ‘He is skilled in reading,’ and that is what they said.” Then that person is ordered to be taken away, dragged by his face, and thrown into Hell. And a man whom Allah had blessed with abundance, and Allah had given him all kinds of wealth, was then brought forth, and his blessings were shown to him, so he recognized them. Allah said to him, “What did you do with it?” The man replied, “There is no path that You love that I have not taken.” Abu Abdur Rahman said: “Meaning, I did not know of anything You loved that I desired to spend on except that I spent on it for Your sake.” Allah said: “You are lying, but so that it may be said that he is generous, so that may be said.” Then that person was ordered to be taken away, dragged by his face, and thrown into Hell.
