Dua anak 'Afra' menjatuhkan Abu Jahal di Perang Badar, dan Ibnu Mas'ud diutus Nabi memastikan keadaannya
Imam Bukhari : 3716حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ مَنْ يَنْظُرُ مَا صَنَعَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ فَانْطَلَقَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فَوَجَدَهُ قَدْ ضَرَبَهُ ابْنَا عَفْرَاءَ حَتَّى بَرَدَ فَقَالَ آنْتَ أَبَا جَهْلٍ قَالَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ هَكَذَا قَالَهَا أَنَسٌ قَالَ أَنْتَ أَبَا جَهْلٍ قَالَ وَهَلْ فَوْقَ رَجُلٍ قَتَلْتُمُوهُ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ أَوْ قَالَ قَتَلَهُ قَوْمُهُ قَالَ وَقَالَ أَبُو مِجْلَزٍ قَالَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ فَلَوْ غَيْرُ أَكَّارٍ قَتَلَنِي
"Narrated to me by Ya'qub bin Ibrahim, narrated to us by Ibn 'Ulayyah, narrated to us by Sulaiman At Taimi, narrated to us by Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, who said, 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said on the day of Badr, "Who will check what happened to Abu Jahl?" Ibn Mas'ud went and found that the two sons of 'Afra had struck him until he was helpless. He said, "Are you Abu Jahl?" Ibn 'Ulayyah said, Sulaiman said, "This is how Anas said it: 'Are you Abu Jahl?'" He replied, "Is there anyone greater than a man you have killed?" Sulaiman said, or he said, "Killed by his own people." Abu Mijlaz said, Abu Jahl said, "If only I had not been killed by a farmer."'
