Rafi' bin Khadij menjelaskan bahwa yang dilarang adalah sewa tanah dengan bayaran hasil petak tertentu, sedangkan sewa dengan emas dan perak tidak mengapa
Imam Bukhari : 2521حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَنْظَلَةَ الزُّرَقِيَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُكُنَّا أَكْثَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ حَقْلًا فَكُنَّا نُكْرِي الْأَرْضَ فَرُبَّمَا أَخْرَجَتْ هَذِهِ وَلَمْ تُخْرِجْ ذِهِ فَنُهِينَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ وَلَمْ نُنْهَ عَنْ الْوَرِقِ
Narrated to us Malik bin Isma'il from Ibn 'Uyainah from Yahya bin Sa'id who said: I heard Hanzhalah Az-Zuraqi say: I heard Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) say: 'We, the Ansar, had the most fields. We used to rent out land, and sometimes one plot yielded while another did not. We were forbidden from this, but we were not forbidden from using money.'
