Anak tidak dapat membalas jasa ayahnya kecuali dengan membeli dan memerdekakannya bila mendapatinya sebagai budak
Imam Abu Dawud : 4471حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَجْزِي وَلَدٌ وَالِدَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَجِدَهُ مَمْلُوكًا فَيَشْتَرِيَهُ فَيُعْتِقَهُ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Katsir], he said: informed us [Sufyan], he said: narrated to me [Suhail bin Abu Shalih] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah], he said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A child cannot repay his parents’ favors until he finds them as slaves, buys them, and frees them."'"'
