Nabi tetap meminta kerelaan istrinya sebelum mendahulukan yang lain, meski ayat sudah membebaskan beliau dari pembagian giliran
Imam Muslim : 2697حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَأْذِنُنَا إِذَا كَانَ فِي يَوْمِ الْمَرْأَةِ مِنَّا بَعْدَ مَا نَزَلَتْ { تُرْجِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُؤْوِي إِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ } فَقَالَتْ لَهَا مُعَاذَةُ فَمَا كُنْتِ تَقُولِينَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَكِ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ ذَاكَ إِلَيَّ لَمْ أُوثِرْ أَحَدًا عَلَى نَفْسِي و حَدَّثَنَاه الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ
Narrated to us [Suraij bin Yunus], narrated to us ['Abbad bin 'Abbad], from ['Ashim], from [Mu'adzah Al 'Adawiyyah], from ['Aisyah], she said: The Prophet, peace be upon him, would seek permission when with one of his wives after the verse was revealed: 'You may postpone whomever you wish among them and receive whomever you wish.' Mu'adzah asked her: What did you say to the Prophet, peace be upon him, when he sought your permission? She replied: If it was my turn, I would not give it to another. Narrated to us [Al Hasan bin Isa], informed us [Ibn Al Mubarak], informed us ['Ashim] with a similar chain.
