Larangan Nabi terhadap para sahabat yang hendak mengebiri diri saat berperang tanpa istri
Imam Muslim : 2493حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي وَوَكِيعٌ وَابْنُ بِشْرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ عَنْ قَيْسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُا كُنَّا نَغْزُو مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ لَنَا نِسَاءٌ فَقُلْنَا أَلَا نَسْتَخْصِي فَنَهَانَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ لَنَا أَنْ نَنْكِحَ الْمَرْأَةَ بِالثَّوْبِ إِلَى أَجَلٍ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ { يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُحَرِّمُوا طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَعْتَدُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ } و حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ وَقَالَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَلَيْنَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ قَرَأَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ كُنَّا وَنَحْنُ شَبَابٌ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا نَسْتَخْصِي وَلَمْ يَقُلْ نَغْزُو
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair Al Hamdani] narrated to us [my father] and [Waki'] and [Ibnu Bisyr] from [Isma'il] from [Qais] he said, I heard [Abdullah] say We fought alongside the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, without our wives, so we said, 'Should we castrate ourselves?' The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, forbade us from doing so and permitted us to marry women for a limited time with a dowry of clothing. Then Abdullah bin Mas'ud recited the verse: 'O you who believe, do not forbid what Allah has made lawful for you, and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not love transgressors.' (Quran, Al-Maidah: 87). Narrated to us [Utsman bin Abu Syaibah] narrated to us [Jarir] from [Isma'il bin Abu Khalid] with this chain, similarly. And he mentioned 'Then he recited this verse to us.' He did not mention '[Abdullah] recited..' Narrated to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] narrated to us [Waki'] and [Isma'il] with this chain. He said We were young men, and we asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, may we castrate ourselves?' But he did not mention 'We fought.'
