Anjuran menikah bagi pemuda yang mampu karena lebih menundukkan pandangan dan menjaga kemaluan, dan puasa sebagai perisai bagi yang belum mampu
Imam Tirmidzi : 1001حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَخَرَجْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ شَبَابٌ لَا نَقْدِرُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ فَقَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْبَاءَةِ فَإِنَّهُ أَغَضُّ لِلْبَصَرِ وَأَحْصَنُ لِلْفَرْجِ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنْكُمْ الْبَاءَةَ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالصَّوْمِ فَإِنَّ الصَّوْمَ لَهُ وِجَاءٌقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ نَحْوَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَقَدْ رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَ هَذَا وَرَوَى أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَالْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى كِلَاهُمَا صَحِيحٌ
Narrated to us by [Mahmud bin Ghailan], narrated to us by [Abu Ahmad Az Zubairi], narrated to us by [Sufyan] from [Al A'masy] from ['Umarah bin 'Umair] from [Abdurrahman bin Yazid] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] who said; 'We set out with the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him. At that time we were young. We were not capable of doing anything. He said: 'O young men, marry! Because marriage better guards the gaze and the private parts. Whoever is not able, let him fast. For fasting is a shield.' Abu Isa said; 'This is a hasan sahih hadith. Narrated to us by [Al Hasan bin Ali Al Khallal], narrated to us by [Abdullah bin Numair] narrated to us by [Al A'masy] from ['Umarah] as above.' Abu Isa said; 'More than one person narrated from Al A'masy with this chain as above. [Abu Mu'awiyah] and [Al Muharibi] narrated from [Al A'masy] from [Ibrahim] from ['Alqamah] from [Abdullah] from the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him as above. Abu Isa said; 'Both are sahih.'
