Al-Abbas diizinkan bermalam di Makkah untuk melayani jamaah haji
Imam Bukhari : 1527حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَاسْتَأْذَنَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبِيتَ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ
Narrated to us Abdullah bin Abu Al-Aswad, narrated to us Abu Dhamrah, narrated to us Ubaidullah from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, said: Al-Abbas bin Abdul Muthalib, may Allah be pleased with him, sought permission from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to stay in Makkah during the nights of Mina to provide water for him. So he permitted him.
