حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَمَلَ مِنْ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَشَى أَرْبَعًاقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ إِذَا تَرَكَ الرَّمَلَ عَمْدًا فَقَدْ أَسَاءَ وَلَا شَيْءَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا لَمْ يَرْمُلْ فِي الْأَشْوَاطِ الثَّلَاثَةِ لَمْ يَرْمُلْ فِيمَا بَقِيَ و قَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ لَيْسَ عَلَى أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ رَمَلٌ وَلَا عَلَى مَنْ أَحْرَمَ مِنْهَا
Narrated to us [Ali bin Khasyram] informed us [Abdullah bin Wahb] from [Malik bin Anas] from [Ja'far bin Muhammad] from [his father] from [Jabir] that the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him trotted starting from the Black Stone and ending there, for three rounds and walked for four rounds. (Abu Isa At-Tirmidzi) said: 'A similar hadith is narrated from Ibnu Umar.' Abu 'Isa said: 'The hadith of Jabir is hasan sahih and practiced by the scholars.' Syafi'i said: 'If he does not trot intentionally, he has done wrong. But he is not penalized anything. If he does not trot in the first three rounds, he does not need to do it in the last four rounds.' Some scholars opine: 'The residents of Makkah do not have to do it, nor anyone who assumes ihram from Makkah.'
