Imam Muslim : 2135حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَأْمُرُ بِالْمُتْعَةِ وَكَانَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ يَنْهَى عَنْهَا قَالَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ عَلَى يَدَيَّ دَارَ الْحَدِيثُ تَمَتَّعْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا قَامَ عُمَرُ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ يُحِلُّ لِرَسُولِهِ مَا شَاءَ بِمَا شَاءَ وَإِنَّ الْقُرْآنَ قَدْ نَزَلَ مَنَازِلَهُ فَ { أَتِمُّوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ لِلَّهِ } كَمَا أَمَرَكُمْ اللَّهُ وَأَبِتُّوا نِكَاحَ هَذِهِ النِّسَاءِ فَلَنْ أُوتَى بِرَجُلٍ نَكَحَ امْرَأَةً إِلَى أَجَلٍ إِلَّا رَجَمْتُهُ بِالْحِجَارَةِ و حَدَّثَنِيهِ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ فَافْصِلُوا حَجَّكُمْ مِنْ عُمْرَتِكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ أَتَمُّ لِحَجِّكُمْ وَأَتَمُّ لِعُمْرَتِكُمْ
"Narrated to us Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna and Muhammad bin Basysyar, Ibnul Mutsanna said, narrated to us Muhammad bin Ja'far, narrated to us Syu'bah, he said, I heard Qatadah narrate from Abu Nadlrah, he said: Ibn Abbas ordered to perform Hajj Tamattu', while Ibn Zubair forbade it. So I mentioned that to Jabir bin Abdullah, and he said: This discussion revolves around me. We used to perform Hajj Tamattu' with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. When Umar stood, he said, 'Indeed, Allah has permitted for His Messenger what He willed, and indeed the Quran has been revealed, so: "Complete your Hajj and Umrah for Allah alone as Allah has commanded you, and formalize the marriage of these women, for I will not be brought a man who marries a woman for a fixed term (nikah mut'ah) except that I will stone him with stones.'
