Bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah menshalatkan Suhail bin baidla` di masjid
Imam Tirmidzi : 954حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى سُهَيْلِ ابْنِ بَيْضَاءَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ قَالَ مَالِكٌ لَا يُصَلَّى عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ و قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ يُصَلَّى عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَاحْتَجَّ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ
Narrated to us [Ali bin Hujr], informed us [Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad] from [Abdul Wahid bin Hamzah] from ['Abbad bin Abdullah bin Zubair] from [Aisyah] said; 'The Messenger of Allah , peace and blessings be upon him performed the funeral prayer over (the body of) Suhail bin Baidla' in the mosque.' Abu Isa said; 'This is a hasan hadith. Some scholars practiced this hadith. Asy Syafi'i said; Malik said; 'It is not allowed to pray over the deceased in the mosque.' Asy Syafi'i said; 'It is permissible to perform funeral prayer in the mosque with this hadith'.
