Hadith Representative
Matikanlah lampu-lampu kalian apabila kalian hendak tidur, tutuplah pintu rumah, dan tutuplah wadah-wadah serta tutup pula tempat makan dan tempat minum
Imam Tirmidzi : 1734حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَغْلِقُوا الْبَابَ وَأَوْكِئُوا السِّقَاءَ وَأَكْفِئُوا الْإِنَاءَ أَوْ خَمِّرُوا الْإِنَاءَ وَأَطْفِئُوا الْمِصْبَاحَ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَفْتَحُ غَلَقًا وَلَا يَحِلُّ وِكَاءً وَلَا يَكْشِفُ آنِيَةً وَإِنَّ الْفُوَيْسِقَةَ تُضْرِمُ عَلَى النَّاسِ بَيْتَهُمْقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah] from [Malik bin Anas] from [Abu Zubair] from [Jabir], he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Close the door, tie the water container’s cover, spill or cover the vessels, and extinguish the lamp, for Satan cannot open what is closed, nor untie what is tied, nor open a vessel. And a mouse can sometimes burn a person’s house.' In this matter, there are also narrations from Ibnu Umar, Abu Hurairah, and Ibnu Abbas. Abu Isa said: This is a hasan sahih hadith. It was also narrated through several chains from Jabir.
