Perumpamaan jaman kalian (Ashar-Maghrib) vs umat sebelumnya
Imam Tirmidzi : 2797حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَجَلُكُمْ فِيمَا خَلَا مِنْ الْأُمَمِ كَمَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى مَغَارِبِ الشَّمْسِ وَإِنَّمَا مَثَلُكُمْ وَمَثَلُ الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى كَرَجُلٍ اسْتَعْمَلَ عُمَّالًا فَقَالَ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ لِي إِلَى نِصْفِ النَّهَارِ عَلَى قِيرَاطٍ قِيرَاطٍ فَعَمِلَتْ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى قِيرَاطٍ قِيرَاطٍ فَقَالَ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ لِي مِنْ نِصْفِ النَّهَارِ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ عَلَى قِيرَاطٍ قِيرَاطٍ فَعَمِلَتْ النَّصَارَى عَلَى قِيرَاطٍ قِيرَاطٍ ثُمَّ أَنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ إِلَى مَغَارِبِ الشَّمْسِ عَلَى قِيرَاطَيْنِ قِيرَاطَيْنِ فَغَضِبَتْ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى وَقَالُوا نَحْنُ أَكْثَرُ عَمَلًا وَأَقَلُّ عَطَاءً قَالَ هَلْ ظَلَمْتُكُمْ مِنْ حَقِّكُمْ شَيْئًا قَالُوا لَا قَالَ فَإِنَّهُ فَضْلِي أُوتِيهِ مَنْ أَشَاءُقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
Narrated to us [Ishaq bin Musa] related to us [Ma'nu] related to us [Malik] from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Ibn Umar] that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, your term of death is like that of the nations before you, like the time between the Asr prayer and sunset. Indeed, your example and the example of the Jews and Christians is like a man who employs some workers, who says: "Whoever works for me until midday will get one qirath, one qirath." So the Jew works for one qirath, one qirath, then the man says: "Whoever works for me from midday until the Asr prayer will get one qirath, one qirath." The Christian works for one qirath, one qirath. Then you work from the Asr prayer until sunset, getting two qirath, two qirath. So the Jews and Christians get angry, they say: We work more. but the reward is small. The man asked: "Have I wronged you in the slightest?" They replied: "No." The man said: "That is my bounty, I give it to whomever I will." Abu Isa said: "This hadith is hasan sahih."
