Imam Tirmidzi : 2785حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا سَافَرْتُمْ فِي الْخِصْبِ فَأَعْطُوا الْإِبِلَ حَظَّهَا مِنْ الْأَرْضِ وَإِذَا سَافَرْتُمْ فِي السَّنَةِ فَبَادِرُوا بِهَا نِقْيَهَا وَإِذَا عَرَّسْتُمْ فَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّرِيقَ فَإِنَّهَا طُرُقُ الدَّوَابِّ وَمَأْوَى الْهَوَامِّ بِاللَّيْلِقَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَأَنَسٍ
Narrated to us by [Qutaibah] that it has been narrated to us by [Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad] from [Suhail bin Abu Shalih] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When you travel during the season of abundant grass and plants, give the camel its right (to eat the plants and grasses) of the earth, and when you travel during a drought, hasten its pace, and when you rest at the end of the night, avoid the roads, for the roads are the paths of animals and the dwelling places of poisonous creatures at night." Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih. There are similar hadiths from Jabir and Anas.
