Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Barrad Al Asy'ari] and [Abu Kuraib], this is the wording of Abu Kuraib, both said: Narrated to us [Abu Usamah] from [Buraid] from [Abu Burdah] from [Abu Musa] from the Prophet, peace be upon him, he said: 'Indeed, the likeness of me and the teaching with which Allah sent me is like a man who comes to his people and says: "O my people, I have seen the enemy’s army with my own eyes, coming to attack you, and I am truly a sincere warner for your safety." Some of his people obey and comply, so they quietly leave the village at night to avoid the enemy’s attack. But some of his people deny the warner and stay in the village until morning. Unfortunately, the enemy attacks and destroys their village in the morning. Such is the likeness of those who obey and follow the teaching I bring, and those who rebel and deny the truth I convey.'
