Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah melaksanakan shalat 'Ashar saat matahari masih meninggi
Imam Nasa'i : 469أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ شَغَلُونَا عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى غَرَبَتْ الشَّمْسُ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Abdul A'la] he said : Having told us [Khalid] he said : Having told us [the Shu'bah] he said : Has reported to me [Qatadah] from [Abu Hasan] from [Ubaidah] from [Ali] Radliyallahu'anhu from the Prophet peace be upon him he said: "They have kept us busy from Wushtha (Asr) prayer until sunset."
