Imam Muslim : 4814حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْيَشْكُرِيِّ عَنْ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَتْ أُمُّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمْتِعْنِي بِزَوْجِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبِأَبِي أَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَبِأَخِي مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ سَأَلْتِ اللَّهَ لِآجَالٍ مَضْرُوبَةٍ وَأَيَّامٍ مَعْدُودَةٍ وَأَرْزَاقٍ مَقْسُومَةٍ لَنْ يُعَجِّلَ شَيْئًا قَبْلَ حِلِّهِ أَوْ يُؤَخِّرَ شَيْئًا عَنْ حِلِّهِ وَلَوْ كُنْتِ سَأَلْتِ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُعِيذَكِ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ أَوْ عَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ كَانَ خَيْرًا وَأَفْضَلَ قَالَ وَذُكِرَتْ عِنْدَهُ الْقِرَدَةُ قَالَ مِسْعَرٌ وَأُرَاهُ قَالَ وَالْخَنَازِيرُ مِنْ مَسْخٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْ لِمَسْخٍ نَسْلًا وَلَا عَقِبًا وَقَدْ كَانَتْ الْقِرَدَةُ وَالْخَنَازِيرُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ حَدَّثَنَاه أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ بِشْرٍ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِهِ عَنْ ابْنِ بِشْرٍ وَوَكِيعٍ جَمِيعًا مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ
Narrated to us by Abu Bakr bin Abu Shaibah and Abu Kuraib - and this wording belongs to Abu Bakr - both said: Narrated to us by Waki from Mis'ar from Alqamah bin Marthad from Al-Mughirah bin Abdullah Al-Yashkuri from Al-Ma'rur bin Suwaid from Abdullah, he said: 'Umm Habibah - the wife of the Messenger of Allah - once prayed as follows: O Allah, grant me enjoyment (extend my life) with my husband, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), my father, Abu Sufyan, and my brother, Muawiyah. Abdullah said: Hearing that prayer, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his wife, Umm Habibah: Indeed, you are asking Allah Glorified and Exalted for lifespan, death, and sustenance that have been determined, where Allah will not advance or delay before its time. If you ask Allah Glorified and Exalted to save you from the torment of Hell and the torment of the grave, then that is better for you and more preferable. Abdullah bin Masud said: then it was asked to the Messenger of Allah about monkeys. Mis'ar said: I think he said: Are pigs from humans who have changed form? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) answered: Indeed, Allah Almighty will not destroy or punish a people, then make descendants for them. Indeed, the descendants of pigs and monkeys already existed before. Narrated to us by Abu Kuraib, Narrated to us by Ibn Bishr from Mis'ar through this chain.
