أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْنُ الْآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ بَيْدَ أَنَّهُمْ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا وَأُوتِينَاهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ وَهَذَا الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ فَهَدَانَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ يَعْنِي يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَالنَّاسُ لَنَا فِيهِ تَبَعٌ الْيَهُودُ غَدًا وَالنَّصَارَى بَعْدَ غَدٍ

Narrated to us [Sa'id bin 'Abdurrahman Al Makhzumi] he said :Narrated to us [Sufyan] from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] and [Ibn Thawus] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] he said : Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alahi Wa Sallam said: 'We are the last people from the previous -generation-. They (people before us) Were given the book before us and we were given the book after them. And today, which Allah the Mighty and Majestic ordained for them to gather, they actually disagreed about it, then Allah the Mighty and Majestic instructed us on Friday, so humans will follow us on that day, while the Jews will be tomorrow (Saturday) and the Christians the day after tomorrow (Sunday).
