Janganlah kalian mencabut uban, karena sesungguhnya ia adalah cahaya bagi seorang muslim
Imam Abu Dawud : 3670حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ح و حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الْمَعْنَى عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَنْتِفُوا الشَّيْبَ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَشِيبُ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ قَالَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ إِلَّا كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِ يَحْيَى إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً
Narrated to us[Musaddad], from [Yahya]. (In another narration) Narrated to us[Musaddad], from [Sufyan] in meaning, from [Ibn 'Ajlan] from ['Amru bin Shu'ayb] from [his father] from [his grandfather], who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not pluck out gray hairs a Muslim does not grow gray in Islam—Sufyan mentioned in his narration—'except that it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection.'" In another narration (by Yahya): "Except that Allah will record a good deed for it and erase a sin from him."
