Sesungguhnya kebajikan yang utama ialah apabila seorang anak melanjutkan hubungan (silaturrahim) dengan keluarga sahabat baik ayahnya
Imam Abu Dawud : 4477حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَبَرَّ الْبِرِّ صِلَةُ الْمَرْءِ أَهْلَ وُدِّ أَبِيهِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يُوَلِّيَ
Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Mani'], he said: narrated to us [Abu An Nadhr], he said: narrated to us [Al Laits bin Sa'd] from [Yazid bin Abdullah bin Usamah Ibnul Had] from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Ibnu Umar], he said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Indeed, the best form of devotion is for a person to maintain ties with those loved by his father after his passing."'"'
