Imam Bukhari : 6948حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي مُزَرِّدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْهُ قَامَتْ الرَّحِمُ فَقَالَ مَهْ قَالَتْ هَذَا مَقَامُ الْعَائِذِ بِكَ مِنْ الْقَطِيعَةِ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَرْضَيْنَ أَنْ أَصِلَ مَنْ وَصَلَكِ وَأَقْطَعَ مَنْ قَطَعَكِ قَالَتْ بَلَى يَا رَبِّ قَالَ فَذَلِكِ لَكِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ { فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَنْ تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوا أَرْحَامَكُمْ }
Narrated to us Ismail bin Abdullah, narrated to me Sulaiman bin Bilal, from Mu'awiyah bin Abu Muzarrad, from Sa'id bin Yasar, from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'Allah created creation. When He finished, the womb stood and said, This is the place of one seeking refuge with You from being severed." Allah said, "Are you not pleased that I connect with those who connect with you and sever those who sever you?" It said, "Yes, my Lord." He said, "That is for you." Then Abu Hurairah recited, "Would you then, if you were given authority, cause corruption in the land and sever your ties of kinship?" (Quran, Muhammad: 22).'"
