حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي الْأَئِمَّةَ الْمُضِلِّينَ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ يَخْذُلُهُمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ سَمِعْت مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَعِيلَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْمَدِينِيِّ يَقُولُ وَذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ظَاهِرِينَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ هُمْ أَهْلُ الْحَدِيثِ

Narrated to us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] from [Ayyub] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Abu Asma` Ar Rahbi] from [Tsauban] said: Rasulullahpeace be upon him said: "What I fear for my Ummah is misleading leaders." Said Tsauban: Rasulullahpeace be upon him said: "A group of my people will always be above the truth and win, it will not harm them those who insult them until Allah's business comes." Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih . I heard Muhammad bin Isma'il say: I heard 'Ali bin Al Madini say and he mentioned a hadith from the prophetpeace be upon him: "A group of my ummah will always win over the truth." Said 'Ali: They are experts in hadith.
