Rasulullah Shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengurai rambutnya dan juga membelah menjadi dua
Imam Abu Dawud : 3656حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَكَانَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ يَعْنِي يَسْدِلُونَ أَشْعَارَهُمْ وَكَانَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ يَفْرُقُونَ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تُعْجِبُهُ مُوَافَقَةُ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ فِيمَا لَمْ يُؤْمَرْ بِهِ فَسَدَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَاصِيَتَهُ ثُمَّ فَرَقَ بَعْدُ
[Musa bin Isma'il] nobis narravit, [Ibrahim bin Sa'd] nobis narravit, [Ibn Syihab] mihi ab [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin Utbah] ab [Ibn Abbas] qui dixit, "Populus Libri capillos suos demittere solebant et polytheistae capillos suos in duas partes dividere solebant. Dum Nuntius Dei (pax et benedictiones Dei sint super eum) populum Libri imitari malebat in rebus quae non iussae erant. Ita Nuntius Dei (pax et benedictiones Dei sint super eum) frontem capillorum suorum demittere solebat, deinde postea dividebat."
