Hajar al aswad, hanya batu tak mendatangkan mudharat maupun manfaat
Imam Tirmidzi : 788حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَابِسِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَرَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يُقَبِّلُ الْحَجَرَ وَيَقُولُ إِنِّي أُقَبِّلُكَ وَأَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ حَجَرٌ وَلَوْلَا أَنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقَبِّلُكَ لَمْ أُقَبِّلْكَقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عُمَرَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
Narrated to us [Hannad] narrated to us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Al-A'mash] from [Ibrahim] from ['Abis bin Rabi'ah] who said: 'I saw [Umar bin Khattab] kissing the Black Stone while saying: 'I kiss you and I know you are only a stone. If I did not see the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him kissing you, I would not kiss you.'' (Abu Isa At-Tirmidzi) said: 'A similar hadith is narrated from Abu Bakr and Ibnu Umar.' Abu 'Isa said: 'The hadith of Umar is hasan sahih.'
