Jangan sekali-kali kalian mengatakan Khabutsat nafsi (diriku sangat buruk), akan tetapi hendaknya ia mengatakan laqishat nafsi (diriku ada kekurangan)
Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Shalih], he said: narrated to us [Ibnu Wahb], he said: informed me [Yunus] from [Ibnu Syihab] from [Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif] from [his father], that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Let none of you say khabutsat nafsi" (my soul is filthy), but say "laqisat nafsi" (my soul is bad).'"'
