Sebaik-baik pemimpin ialah yang dicintai rakyat dan mereka mencintai rakyatnya; yang saling mendoakan kebaikan
Imam Muslim : 3447حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ رُزَيْقِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ قَرَظَةَ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ بِالسَّيْفِ فَقَالَ لَا مَا أَقَامُوا فِيكُمْ الصَّلَاةَ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ مِنْ وُلَاتِكُمْ شَيْئًا تَكْرَهُونَهُ فَاكْرَهُوا عَمَلَهُ وَلَا تَنْزِعُوا يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ
Narrated to us [Ishaq bin Ibrahim Al Handlali], informed us [Isa bin Yunus], narrated to us [Al Auza'i] from [Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir] from [Ruzaiq bin Hayyan] from [Muslim bin Qaradlah] from ['Auf bin Malik], from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said, 'The best of your leaders are those you love and who love you, who pray for you and you pray for them. The worst of your leaders are those you hate and who hate you, who curse you and you curse them.' He was asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, should we not fight them?' He replied, 'No, as long as they establish prayer with you. If you see something wrong in your leader, hate the deed, but do not withdraw from obedience to them.'
