berdirilah wahai abu ubaidah bin jarrah! dia kepercayaan umat ini
Imam Ibnu Majah : 132حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَهْلِ نَجْرَانَ سَأَبْعَثُ مَعَكُمْ رَجُلًا أَمِينًا حَقَّ أَمِينٍ قَالَ فَتَشَرَّفَ لَهُ النَّاسُ فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عُبَيْدَةَ بْنَ الْجَرَّاحِ
Narrated to us by Ali bin Muhammad, he said, narrated to us by Waki’, from Sufyan. And by another chain: Narrated to us by Muhammad bin Basyar, he said, narrated to us by Muhammad bin Ja’far, he said, narrated to us by Syu’bah, all from Abu Ishaq, from Shilah bin Zufar, from Hudzaifah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the people of Najran, 'I will send with you a man who is truly trustworthy.' Hudzaifah said, 'People hoped to be chosen, but he sent Abu Ubaidah bin Al Jarrah.'
