حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْكُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَكُنَّا نَتَمَنَّى أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ الْعَاقِلُ فَيَسْأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ كَذَلِكَ إِذْ أَتَاهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَجَثَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّ رَسُولَكَ أَتَانَا فَزَعَمَ لَنَا أَنَّكَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَرْسَلَكَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي رَفَعَ السَّمَاءَ وَبَسَطَ الْأَرْضَ وَنَصَبَ الْجِبَالَ آللَّهُ أَرْسَلَكَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَكَ زَعَمَ لَنَا أَنَّكَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ عَلَيْنَا خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَكَ آللَّهُ أَمَرَكَ بِهَذَا قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَكَ زَعَمَ لَنَا أَنَّكَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ عَلَيْنَا صَوْمَ شَهْرٍ فِي السَّنَةِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَكَ آللَّهُ أَمَرَكَ بِهَذَا قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَكَ زَعَمَ لَنَا أَنَّكَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ عَلَيْنَا فِي أَمْوَالِنَا الزَّكَاةَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَكَ آللَّهُ أَمَرَكَ بِهَذَا قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَكَ زَعَمَ لَنَا أَنَّكَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ عَلَيْنَا الْحَجَّ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَبِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَكَ آللَّهُ أَمَرَكَ بِهَذَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ لَا أَدَعُ مِنْهُنَّ شَيْئًا وَلَا أُجَاوِزُهُنَّ ثُمَّ وَثَبَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنْ صَدَقَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعْت مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْمَعِيلَ يَقُولُ قَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِقْهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّ الْقِرَاءَةَ عَلَى الْعَالِمِ وَالْعَرْضَ عَلَيْهِ جَائِزٌ مِثْلُ السَّمَاعِ وَاحْتَجَّ بِأَنَّ الْأَعْرَابِيَّ عَرَضَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَقَرَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Isma'il], narrated to us [Ali bin Abdul Hamid Al Kufi], narrated to us [Sulaiman bin Al Mughirah] from [Tsabit] from [Anas bin Malik], he said, we liked the coming of a clever bedouin to ask the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while we were like that, a bedouin came and sat on his knees in front of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, O Muhammad, your messenger claims that you claim to be the messenger of Allah? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, answered, Yes. He said, By the One who raised the sky, flattened the earth and planted the mountains, has Allah sent you? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, answered: "Yes." He said, your messenger also claims that you say we are obliged to perform five prayers a day and night? He answered, he said true. He said, By the One who sent you, has Allah commanded this? He answered, Yes. He said, your messenger also claims that you say we are obliged to fast one full month in a year? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He said true." He said, By the One who sent you, has Allah commanded this? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, answered: "Yes." He said, your messenger also claims that you say, we are obliged to pay zakat from our wealth? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, answered: "He said true." He said, By the One who sent you, has Allah commanded this? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, answered: "Yes." He said, your messenger also claims that you say, it is obligatory for those who can to perform Hajj to the House, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He said true." He said, By the One who sent you, has Allah commanded this? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, answered: "Yes." Then he said, By the One who sent you with truth, indeed I will not leave any of it and I will not add anything else, then he left. Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If that bedouin does it, then he will enter paradise." Abu 'Isa said, through this path this hadith is hasan gharib, this hadith is also narrated through another chain namely from Anas bin Malik from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, I have heard Muhammad bin Ismail say, some of the people of knowledge say, the ruling that can be taken from this hadith is, it is permissible to seek knowledge by reading to a sheikh as well as Sama' (listening from the sheikh's wording), because the bedouin also read it in front of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, then he confirmed it.
